NDUCFA is pleased to be able to offer one registration scholarship ($2,199 value) to attend the Municipal Forestry Institute (MFI) in Silverton, Ore., Feb. 24 – March 1, 2019. MFI is a high-level training opportunity educating professionals in the leadership and managerial aspects of urban forestry. Registration includes course materials, five nights lodging and meals.
The scholarship recipient is expected to prepare one article for the monthly eNewsletter about his/her experiences at MFI, as well as share information at the annual NDUCFA member meeting during the Tree Care Workshop in January 2020. It is also expected the scholarship recipient will serve on an NDUCFA committee and consider service on the board of directors. The scholarship recipient will be responsible for registering for MFI and covering any additional costs beyond registration, including travel.
NDUCFA is no longer accepting application for the 2019 MFI Scholarship.
Applications for the 2020 MFI Scholarship will be available in the fall.
