NDUCFA 2019 EAB Detection & Management Workshops

NDUCFA is excited to host EAB Detection and Management Workshops in Grand Forks on Oct. 9 and Bismarck on Oct. 16. Using the most current information about emerald ash borer (EAB) and the experiences of neighboring infested states, presenters Charles Elhard, NDDA; Lezlee Johnson, NDFS; and Joe Zeleznik, NDSU Extension will share their expertise on the most effective EAB detection technique, how to uncover EAB in a branch sample and the best strategies for slowing the spread now (pre-infestation) and into the future. There will also be a discussion of 2019 tree pests and their management based on calls, observations and reports from the field.
